Final Product Special Instructions:Direct care activities with supervision include, but are not limited to the following: -Observing psychological assessments -Observing functional capacity assessments -Observing individual psychotherapy assessments Special projects could involve the following areas of operations: -Developing a cultural competency plan for mental health care workers -Researching grant opportunities -Assisting with networking and outreach activities -Refining assessment tools -Assisting with activities associated with the facility's plan for national accreditation. -Assisting in website development

Requirements

Background Checks is Required. NEW ORLEANS POLICE DEPARTMENT & OIG
Immunization is Required. YES, TB Skin Test. Done on site.
The CP requests emergency contact information.Kept in student?s file and used in case of an emergency
Evaluations/surveys will be requested by community partner to be completed by students.
Yes, Evaluation of activity upon completion Information will be used to assess the intern?s experience, so that we make changes to the program.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.
