Descriptions: The African American History Curriculum Development professional assists in the planning, implementation, evaluating and delivery of a creative and engaging program in African and African American History program areas for youth ages 6 to 18. The African American History Curriculum Development professional is responsible for ensuring youth development principles are incorporated in all African studies and education activities; providing guidance, education and enforcing discipline resulting in a safe and positive environment conducive to learning; and maintaining and caring for applicable equipment and supplies.

partner with organizations when possible to enhance and offer Africana history based educational experiences for members.
Product of Partnership: intern should be able to deliver a final project/presentation that shows the development of the students growth of knowledge of Africa and African American history
