Descriptions: In 2007, Providence Community Housing helped found NEWCITY Neighborhood Partnership, a coalition of stakeholders driving urban development in Treme, Lower Mid-City, and the 7th Ward neighborhoods of New Orleans. The intern will be responsible for compiling current information from NEWCITY partners and designing a website and other informational materials (paper and digital) to keep the group connected. Students with an interest in urban development or public affairs are encouraged to apply.
Product of Partnership: A website; an informational booklet of organizations working in the NEWCITY area and projects currently underway
