Species Identification

Basic Information

Contact: Katie Brasted
Descriptions: Student/s will identify specimen tree and plant species and obtain their GPS coordinates along 13-miles of Woodlands Trail. This information will guide the design of signage to be placed at the various locations along the trail. The GPS information and species information will be incorporated into a map.
Product of Partnership: Identify a variety of speciman species along Woodlands Trail. Record GPS corrdinates. Research information to be incorporated into signage Assist in the design of the interpretive signage Develop a "Natural Treasure Hunt Map" of species identified
