Volunteer/Education Intern

Basic Information

Descriptions: Interns will be responsible for learning the information about the facility and animals that are housed at the Insectarium. They will present this information to guests, work in our butterfly garden, assist with some husbandry of animals, assist with education and volunteer staff with daily duties, assignments, and special events.
Product of Partnership: Interns must complete a detailed lesson plan that can be used in our youth programs or for teachers. It must meet required state and national science standards.
