Descriptions: The Southern Food & Beverage Museum Kids Culinary Camp is a free half-day cooking camp for kids in 2nd through 5th grade. The camp aims to teach nutritional literacy and the importance of home cooking. Each day the campers learn a new recipe and prepare (and eat!) their own lunch, participate in fun physical activity, learn a bit about nutrition, and do a craft project where they write the recipe in their cookbook.
Each day the supply/operations coordinator will be responsible for working with the camp director to ensure that the proper lunch ingredients and materials are ready for camp each day so that overall operations run smoothly. They will be vitally important in each aspect of the camp activity to ensure that all material needs are met for the nutrition, cooking, physical activity, and art portions.
