Descriptions: Interns will be responsible for assisting the Volunteer Coordinator with the daily tasks of the department, educating the public at our interactive stations, and may help with the recruitment of new volunteers, which can include contacting, planning, and visiting different venues to promote our volunteer programs at the Insectarium. You will be required to complete a research project that would entail creating a new lesson plan to be used for the Junior Entomologist program and/or onsite special
Product of Partnership: The final project includes a lesson plan for the Edu/Vol department. It must meet national & state science standards & be completed in the format provided by department. It must be based on an entomological topic. Grade levels range from 6th-12th.
