Descriptions: The Southern Food and Beverage Museum is a nonprofit living history organization dedicated to the discovery, understanding and celebration of the food, drink and the related culture of the South. The legal intern will assist with the museum?s continuing legal education program that focuses on food law. In addition, the intern will be involved in the planning and creation of the museum?s Food and Law Center and publication.

Location and Travel

The students will work at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum. We are located in the Central Business District in the Riverwalk Mall.
Transportation options:Public Transportation less than 45 ride from Tulane
Tulane Uptown/Downtown shuttle

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will need to sign in with date and time. They will meet with a Tulane VISTA at the sight and have the days work explained in detail.
Students track their hours at site: The students will have their own sheet where they can record the dates they have worked and their hours.
