Data and Statistics Intern

Descriptions: The primary duty of interns are to analyze statistical data which relate to the New Orleans Police Department and complaints therof. The internship is designed to provide students with experience in data analysis. Interns may also assist with community outreach events designed to disseminate information about the agency and its function and with drafting outreach literature.

Requirements

Background Checks is Required. The agency will provide all materials and processing.
Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.

Location and Travel

Students will work at the agency.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will need to check in with their site supervisor.
Students track their hours at site: Students will need to track their hours independently via timesheets.
