Descriptions: The Curriculum Assistant Intern will report directly to the Director of Curriculum & Instruction. S/he gathers research and information on lesson plans and curriculum; organizes guided reading library; and provides assistance to Director of Curriculum and teachers. Intern Must Have/Be: ? Firm belief that all children can learn at high levels ? Passionate about closing the achievement gap ? Committed to preparing EVERY student for college ? Product of Partnership: Curriculum for Pre-K thru 4th Grade
Final Product Special Instructions:The Curriculum Assistant Intern will report directly to the Director of Curriculum & Instruction. S/he gathers research and information on lesson plans and curriculum; organizes guided reading library; and provides assistance to Director of Curriculum and teachers. Expected Deliverable is a curriculum reflection paper outlining the research gatherd and how this information may be utilized in the future.

Background Checks is Required. Agency will provide all materials and processing for background checks.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will need to check-in with their site supervisor.
Students track their hours at site: Students will track their hours independently via timesheets.
