Descriptions: Position description
The Communications and Operations Internship is a part-time internship, with some tasks falling outside of regular business hours. The internship will require an average of 10-15 hours per week. The position is based on New Orleans, at the teachNOLA office. The intern will be report to Lauren Neupert, Program Operations Manager, teachNOLA.
The responsibilities of the position include but as not limited to:
? Oversee drafting and distribution of accurate and effective programmatic information and messages via newsletters, mailings, emails, etc.
? Return candidate inquiries via phone and email (including the program?s general information voicemail and email inboxes)
? Assist with event preparation and facilitation, including Fellow connectivity events, Professional Development sessions and Interview Events
? Help to troubleshoot concerns from candidates as needed
? Participate in regular team meetings and communicate ongoing progress and challenges
? Implement relevant portions of the Recruitment and Cultivation Plan, including researching relevant avenues for recruitment such as professors or clubs at universities nationwide
