Descriptions: The selected intern will assist in coordinating and marketing the Power Ties Program for New Orleans Outreach. Power Ties is a job skills and career awareness program that links professionals from various occupations with students through job skills workshops, a career fair, job site visits, and vacation internships. Specific duties include marketing the program to volunteers, coordinating volunteer events with business partners and schools, drafting media relations materials and assisting the staff in securing media coverage.

Students allowed to take pictures or video.

Students will work at the agency.

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will need to check in at the site with their site supervisor.
Students track their hours at site: Students will track their hours independently via timesheets.
