Descriptions: The media intern will photograph and videotape New Orleans Outreach?s enrichment program at Langston Hughes Academy. The intern will be responsible for maintaining the photograph and video portfolio for Fall 2011 programming. The intern will also learn how program media is used for volunteer recruitment, as well as enhancing marketing and donor literature. The intern will also play a key role in starting a photograph and video library at Langston Hughes Academy and assist the Journalism Intern with various periodicals including a monthly newsletter.

Requirements

Background Checks is Required. Background check forms and processing will be provided by the site.
Students allowed to take pictures or video.

Location and Travel

Students will work at Langston Hughes Academy (3519 Trafalgar St. NOLA 70119).

Supervision and Risk

Check-in at the site: Students will need to check in with their site supervisor.
Students track their hours at site: Students will need to track their hours independently via timesheets.
