Descriptions: fielding calls, assisting with mailings, as well as answering general inquiries about the organization and our programming. Other duties may include: managing databases of donors, members and students using a variety of online softwares like Donor Perfect and Constant Contact. He or she should be well versed in NOVAC's mission as well as our ongoing programs so they may adequately handle general inquiries should they arise. This intern may also be asked to assist the Workforce Programs Manager, the Film Programs and Outreach Manager or the Executive Director with a variety of projects as well as coordinate with other interns on larger tasks. He or she may also be asked to attend NOVAC community events and seminars in order to assist with intake, and class/event flow. On occasion, he or she may have the opportunity to assist on NOVAC independent productions as they arise.
Product of Partnership: Students would have hopefully gained meaningful experience and knowledge in the fields of film and video as well as the media-arts non-profit world. There will be an exit interview

Alternate locations are to be announced as NOVAC often holds events and seminars off-site. These locations will be in the New Orleans Metro Area. Working off-site is kept to a minimum.
