Descriptions: The Education Conservation Intern is responsible for creating educational activities for visitors and zoo education program participants with a focus on conservation. In general, duties will include assisting full-time education staff in developing guest programming and/or summer day camp curriculum. There may be opportunities for conducting informal public presentations, and there may be administrative duties as needed. Opportunities for program animal handling, interpretive materials design may also be available. The Education Conservation Intern will encourage the public to think and to learn about animals, habitats and conservation by helping them interpret Audubon Zoo?s collection. The Education Conservation Intern is expected to complete a conservation based project by the end of the internship.
