Evacuteer.org is an entirely volunteer-based organization with all fiscal support privately donated. We seek to expand our organization to be the face of emergency disaster preparedness in the city of New Orleans and beyond.

Mission statements

Evacuteer.org is a non-profit 501c(3) organization committed to recruiting, training and mobilizing 500 volunteers each year to assist New Orleans citizens without reliable transportation in the event of a mandatory evacuation. If activated, our reserve volunteer corps will staff the City Assisted Evacuation plan throughout 17 evacuation pick-up points (Evacuspots) and the Union Passenger Terminal.
