Agency needs:
Providence is looking for one-time volunteers to help complete a property condition survey in the Treme neighborhood. This would require a three-four hour commitment, including a 45-minute training. Students will be asked to walk around the neighborhood to assess and record property use and condition. Providence is also looking for a summer/fall intern to help create a website for a Treme stakeho
Quotations:
Students interested in urban planning & development, architecture, project planning, affordable housing, fund development, community engagement, neighborhood politics, and city government would find these volunteer and internship opportunities particularly educational.
