Become a Community Partner

Why partner with CPS?

  • Be a co-educator of Tulane students, offering students practical experience as they apply their academic knowledge to your Public Service project
  • Participate in a mutually interactive partnership designed to support your organization in its mission
  • Receive one-on-one support from CPS staff in arranging your public service activity
  • Attend workshops designed to strengthen your Public Service activities and your organization
  • Conduct outreach, network with other agencies, and highlight your organization at CPS events

How to become a partner:

For consideration as a partner, please:

1. Review the CPS Community Partner Handbook (pdf).

2. Fax a signed Experiential Education Agreement (pdf) and proof of liability and workman's compensation insurance to (504) 862-8061. If changes to the agreement are necessary, e-mail modified EEA to ccp@tulane.edu in order for them to be reviewed and approved by Tulane's General Counsel.

3. Once your signed agreement is submitted, please create an agency profile and a Public Service Activity (PSA) description on CPS On-Line, our online partner database that faculty and students use when choosing service-learning projects and public service internships.

Following are resources that may help you to identify and plan for successful Public Service Activities:

If you need assistance, please e-mail ccp@tulane.edu or call (504) 862-3352.
