Award Timeline

1. Applications are due to the Center for Public Service by October 3, 2012.

2. A selection committee of public service staff, faculty, and student leaders will first assess applications and proposals to ensure that it meets the academic requirements and the selection criteria.

3. Selected applicants will be notified if they are selected for an in-person interview by October 12, 2012.  A final decision will be made shortly after.

4. All interviews will be conducted by October 19, 2012.

5. All recipients will be notified no later than November 15, 2012 and invited to a program orientation and ceremony if selected.

6. Students will be expected to:

1. • Submit 3 progress reports: December 2012, February 2012, and April 2012.

   • Meet with the Community Service Program Manager on a regular basis.

   • Give a formal presentation of their work to the selection committee, fellow recipients, CPS staff and invited guests during April 2012.
