Brice Builders will be accepting delivery of the tower crane and begin erection of the tower crane on Monday, February 10, 2014. The delivery will consist of several truckloads of crane parts. The trucks will be staged off site and called to be unloaded on the site as space is available. Without any weather or other unforeseen delays, the tower crane should be fully operational by the end of the day Friday, February 14, 2014. The deliveries will start at 8 a.m. Monday, February 10 with the delivery of the crane to be used to erect the tower crane. The crane itself is scheduled to start arriving at 9 a.m. All trucks will be arriving and leaving the site through the Freret Street gate. Flagmen will be on Freret St. directing traffic. The contractor will have extra personnel at Freret Street to ensure pedestrian safety.
Normal Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (with 48 hour notice and university permission)
Sunday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (with 48 hour notice and university permission)
Contractor Access to Campus & Off Campus Buildings:
Contractors are required by their contract with the university, to observe all city ordinances with respect to site access.
