Required Admissions Materials

Deadline for all required materials is December 1

1. Completed Tulane School of Liberal Arts (SLA) application for Graduate Study

• The application form can be accessed once you log into the SLA On-Line Application to Graduate Program.

2. Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate-level institutions

• Official transcripts for all of your undergraduate and graduate coursework must be mailed in sealed, unopened envelopes from the registrar to the program at the following address:
     CCC Program c/o Tulane School of Social Work
     6823 St. Charles Avenue, Building #9, Room 206
     New Orleans LA 70118-5698
     Attn: K. Smith
• For transcripts in a language other than English, please provide a certified English translation with an explanation of the grading system directly to the program at the above address.

3. Official reports from Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

• Official GRE test scores must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to the CCC Program via the Tulane School of Liberal Arts, the code is: 6183.

4. Statement of purpose

• You will upload the statement of purpose through the SLA On-Line Application to Graduate Program.

5. Three letters of recommendation from academic and professional sources

• Your letter writers can submit letters electronically through the SLA On-Line Application to Graduate Program. You will find the instruction once you log in to the program. 

6. Curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé

• Submit your CV (or résumé) directly to the program department at:
     CCC Program c/o Tulane School of Social Work
     6823 St. Charles Avenue, Building #9, Room 206
     New Orleans LA 70118-5698
     Attn: K. Smith
• To insure correct processing, be sure to include a note as to which of the three specialties (Sociology, Social Work, or Urban Studies) you are applying

7. [Foreign students only] Official reports from Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

• Official TOEFL test scores must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to the CCC Program via the Tulane School of Liberal Arts, the code is: 6183.
