Pianist Eric Wubbels (Wet Ink Ensemble) and cellist Jessie Marino (Ensemble Pamplemousse) join for an evening of solo works by the American acoustic magician Alvin Lucier, and Austrian visual/sound artist Peter Ablinger. Each piece plays with its own specific acoustic phenomenon, tricking and guiding the listening experience while reawakening the ears attention to the space around them.
Opera with Objects : Alvin Lucier for two pencils and sonorous objects.
Voices and Piano : Peter Ablinger (Valentina Tereshkova, Kati Outinen, Morton Feldman, Alberto Giacometti, Hanna Schygulla, Alvin Lucier) for piano and pre-recorded voices.
Charles Curtis : Alvin Lucier for cello and slow sweep pure wave oscillator.
