Freedom Riders: 50 Years Later

An unprecedented opportunity to hear 9 of the original Freedom Riders talk about their experiences in the fight for Civil Rights in the South.  This event is open to the public and there will be a Q&A session following the panel discussion as well as a reception generously provided by the Provost's Office. Participants- Don Hubbard, Sandra Nixon Thomas, Matt 'Flukie' Suarez, Doratha 'Dodie' Smith-Simmons, Leo Washington, Jerome Smith, Alice Thompson, Claude Reese, and Dave Dennis.
