DTM Seminar: "How Mycobacterium tuberculosis Copes with Stress"

Dr. Kaushal's laboratory is leveraging the nonhuman primate model of TB and TB/AIDS co-infections in order to investigate the specific mechanisms of reactivation of latent TB by due to HIV as well as identifying specific correlates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) persistence in human lungs. This seminar will feature data on Mtb and Mtb/SIV co-infections using a nonhuman primate model of TB.
