Dr. Ponce Solé is member of the European Network for Housing Research / European Group of Public Law and developed studies at the Academy of European Public Law and the Universities of Harvard and Colorado. He is currently coordinating a research project on the rights of urbanism and housing and its relations with the rights to education and freedom of religion and security. Ponce Solé participated in the development of the Strategic Plan of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, activity which resulted in the monograph Urbanisme, habitatge i cohesió social. He also an author of several studies in the area of administrative law, among which stand out discretionary Urban and Municipal Autonomy (1996) and Local Government and Urban Ghettos (2002).
