TEDxTU is an independently organized TED event in New Orleans which works to inspire action in the local community through the celebration , cultivation, and innovation of ideas worth spreading. These ideas are shared in an open format which brings the public together to stimulate social change in a tangible way. TEDxTU is not a service event or meeting, but rather a conversation between people passionate about shaping the way the world thinks, acts, and works.
This year the theme of our conference is Unlearning, and our diverse group of speakers will talk about how they have unpacked their biases and assumptions about the world and unlearn what they thought they knew. This unlearning process is where progress and growth happen. We ask that our attendees come in with open minds, ready to unlearn along with our speakers.
