Please join the Newcomb College Institute for the 2014 Adele Ramos Salzer Lecture. Dr. Mary Trigg will be discussing service, leadership, and gender in her talk "What's Feminism Got to Do With It?". 

Dr. Trigg is Associate Professor in the Department of Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University, and the Director of Leadership Programs and Research at the Institute for Women's Leadership. Her anthology Leading the Way: Young Women's Activism for Social Change was published by Rutgers University Press in 2010. She holds a Ph.D and M.A. in American Civilization from Brown University, an M.A. in English from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a B.S. from the University of Michigan. 

in 1993, friends and family of Newcomb College alumna, Adele Ramos Salzer established an endowed lecture in her honor to examine the ideas and questions related to women's education as a means to continue this important and timely discussion.
