Bayou St. John Paddle

Date: Thursday, April 25, 2013
Time: 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Bayou St. John is the historic bayou that runs from Lake Pontchartrain, alongside City Park into Mid-City. Historically, Bayou St. John is the reason that the French decided in the early 1700s to locate New Orleans at what is now the French Quarter. Our paddle will last approximately 2 hours with stops along the way to learn about the architecture and history along the waterway. We’ll finish up with a Po’ boy at the famed Parkway Bakery and Tavern, a mid-city favorite! Cost includes all activity fees, transportation and meal.
