Can the Creative Economy Sustain New Orleans? Global Lessons

 British scholar Dr. Andy Pratt will give a keynote lecture on cultural economies at Tulane University’s inaugural Framing Cities: Understanding Equities of Place symposium on Wednesday, February 12, 6:30pm, at the Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center on Tulane’s campus. His talk, “Can the Creative Economy Save New Orleans? Global Lessons,” will examine the implications of cities’ increased investment in creative industries and the challenges and opportunities facing individuals who pursue creative or cultural work.  A reception will follow Dr. Pratt's lecture. 

The event, along with all other symposium activities, is free and open to the public.
