Neglected Tropical Disease Research in Louisiana:

Saving Lives and Creating Jobs

Join leaders in the field for a unique forum exploring how neglected tropical diseases (NTD) are emerging in Louisiana and the southern United States.This important event will feature panels by experts in the NTD field (including Tulane researchers), exploring both the rise of NTDs and NTD research in Louisiana and throughout the region. Even as the threat of these diseases grows locally, researchers at Tulane University, Loyola University New Orleans, Louisiana State University, and elsewhere are working with both local and federal support to develop new tools and treatments for use here and abroad.
