To commemorate the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Tulane University will blanket the city in a Wave of Green. Faculty, staff and alumni volunteers will assist in recovery efforts at New Orleans City Park and will build homes for Habitat for Humanity. Parking is available in the Rosen Lot and the Diboll Complex. Volunteers will check in at Wilson Center atrium at 8:15 a.m. Buses will leave from the Rosen Lot to take volunteers to their work sites. Lunch will be provided at both sites. Buses will return volunteers to the Wilson Center at 3 p.m. 

A closing celebration with food and drink will be held near the baseball stadium from 3-5 p.m. Only volunteers are invited to attend the festivities.
