The Honorary Italian Consul of New Orleans and the Department of French and Italian are proud to announce an exhibition of medieval standard-bearing that will be presented by the Sbandieratori of the medieval Italian town of San Sepolcro on Thursday March 7 at 1:30 p.m. The troupe, which is dressed in multi-colored medieval garb, presents an exhibition of the military standards that were used by army troops to identify themselves in the Middle Ages.
