Don't miss a special night of Latin jazz featuring an ensemble of New Orleans artists including Jamal Batiste, drums; Pat Casey, bass; Alexey Marti (pictured), percussion; Jesse McBride, piano; Mike Watson, trombone; and other TBA special guests.
Jazz at the Rat is a series of free, live concerts held on selected Thursday evenings at Der Rathskeller (a.k.a. "The Rat") at Tulane. Curated by Jesse McBride, the series features performances by jazz legends and rising stars, comprising of both visiting artists and outstanding New Orleans-based musicians, accompanied by students and faculty from Tulane's Jazz Studies program.
