Paja Faudree is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Brown University. She is the author of Singing for the Dead: The Politics of Indigenous Revival in Mexico forthcoming in May 2013 from Duke University Press. Faudree received her Ph.D. in Linguistic Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a published poet and playwright, and holds an MFA from Brown University's literary arts program.
