Soprano and Tulane University professor Amy Pfrimmer will collaborate with University of Northern Iowa professor and pianist Korey Barrett in a discussion, with sung examples, of cabaret influences in vocal selections of Erik Satie, Cécile Chaminade, Kurt Weill, and Edith Piaf. Selections will include such favorites as Je te veux, Écrin, Je ne t'aime pas, Youkali, andHymne a l'amour.
NOTE: Audience will be seated on the Dixon Hall stage for an intimate musical experience and discussion. Begins at noon.
