Tulane Breastfeeding Support Program

Tulane University promotes healthy families with this campus-wide initiative to protect, promote and support students, staff, and faculty mothers who breastfeed. 

Tulane University provides lactation support through multiple lactation rooms on campus and a law compliant policy (as seen in the Staff Handbook on page 23).

The Tulane University Breastfeeding Program is the product of  a partnership between Tulane University and the Louisiana Gift (Guided Infant Feeding Techniques) Program.  There is additional support for the Tulane Breastfeeding Program from the Lousiana Women, Infants and Children's (WIC) Program and The Tulane University Women's Association.
