Course evaluations for the Summer 2012 and the 2012-2013 academic year will be administered online using the Blackboard Outcomes System. Students will receive an e-mail invitation with a link to complete the course evaluation survey for each course in which they are enrolled. Students may also access the course evaluation survey via Blackboard by selecting the appropriate course evaluation link.
The course evaluation period begins two weeks prior to the end of classes and the evaluations are available for completion until final exams begin. The table below shows the 2012-2013 course evaluation schedule.
Tuesday, April 16, 2013
Thursday, May 2, 2013, 11:59 PM
Exceptions to this schedule include courses that are offered outside of the traditional 15-week academic schedule, most commonly offered in the Schools of Business, Law, Medicine, and Public Health and Tropical Medicine. These courses are evaluated on a schedule complementary to the course calendar.
Course evaluation reports are made available to deans and department chairs approximately three days after the grade submission deadline. Those with the appropriate permissions to view reports for departments or school may access the reports using these instructions.
Individual faculty members will receive their course evaluation reports approximately 10 days after the grade submission deadline. Faculty members will receive an e-mail alerting them that the report is available and instructing them on how to access the reports. Faculty members may access their individual reports using these instructions.
It is important to note that instructors cannot access the course evaluation results at any time during the administration period. The course evaluations are not linked to the course materials and instructors cannot identify the respondents.
