DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 ~ In transit U.S. to Singapore
Depart your gateway city for your Singapore. Travelers participating in the AHI Travel Air Program will enjoy advanced seat assignments on most airlines, air price guarantee including all fuel surcharges, airport and airline taxes, arrival and departure transfers including baggage handling and many other benefits.
Day 2 ~ In transit
A day is lost crossing the International Dateline.
Day 3 ~ Singapore
Arrive at Changi International Airport in Singapore. After you have gathered your luggage, transited customs formalities and exited into the arrivals hall, Air Program passengers will be met by an AHI Travel Representative.
Then, transfer by motorcoach to the pier for embarkation of Crystal Symphony. The ship departs Singapore, cruising the Strait of Malacca, one of the world’s most important shipping lanes.
Day 4 ~ Cruising the Strait of Malacca
Enjoy a full day of sailing along the Strait of Malacca, a narrow stretch of water that separates West Malaysia from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Take advantage of the vast selection of amenities available onboard Crystal Symphony. Perhaps you’ll relax on the Sun Deck, treat yourself to a massage at the Crystal Spa or attend one of the many activities planned by your cruise staff.
Day 5 ~ Phuket, Thailand
Arrive in Phuket, located on the Andaman Sea coastline in southern Thailand. Explore Thailand’s largest island on your own or discover some of its cultural highlights on one of Crystal Cruises’ optional shore excursions. Crystal Cruises will offer a variety of exclusively-designed optional excursions designed to delight and inform you.
Day 6 ~ Cruising the Andaman Sea
Today, Crystal Symphony sails through the Andaman Sea, which is part of the Indian Ocean. The entire day is at leisure to enjoy the many delights found aboard ship. Maybe you’ll join
a friendly ping-pong or shuffleboard tournament. You may decide to browse in the ship’s gift shop, try your luck at the Crystal Casino, or work out in the fully equipped ocean view Fitness Center. If so, be sure to reward your efforts at the poolside ice cream bar!
Day 7 ~ Yangon, Myanmar
Arrive in Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar. Yangon boasts ancient pagodas, spectacular parks and gardens, stellar museums and bustling marketplaces. The remainder of the day is at leisure to discover the city on your own or you may choose to participate in a Crystal Cruises’ optional shore excursion designed to provide you with memorable and enriching experiences.
Day 8 ~ Yangon
The entire day is at leisure to pursue individual interests in Yangon or enjoy the many amenities found aboard Crystal Symphony. A full assortment of singular experiences is available through Crystal Cruises’ optional shore excursions.
Day 9 ~ Yangon
Today is another day to continue your exploration of Yangon or participate in one of Crystal Cruises’ optional shore excursions.
Day 10 ~ Cruising the Bay of Bengal
Enjoy a full day of sailing through the Bay of Bengal, which forms the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a good workout in the gym, stroll or jog along the extensive Promenade Deck or stop by the library for a good book and spend a quiet afternoon in your stateroom catching up on your reading.
Day 11 ~ Cruising the Bay of Bengal
Continue cruising the Bay of Bengal. Spend the day engaged in the pursuits of your choice. Do some shopping at Facets Jewelry or expand your wardrobe at Apropos. You might also attend an award-winning show or participate in one of the many activities planned by your cruise staff.
Day 12 ~ Cruising the Indian Ocean
As Crystal Symphony cruises the Indian Ocean, experience the many delights found onboard ship.
Day 13 ~ Kochi, India
The ship arrives at Kochi, one of the most fascinating cities in India. Set among small islands and narrow inlets along the Malabar Coast, Kochi was once a premier port along the fabled Spice Route of the east. During the 400-year colonial period, the Portuguese, Dutch, and British wrestled for control of this city. In your exploration, you will see a style of architecture that is a conglomerate of all their influences. Set off on your own to explore Kochi or join one of Crystal Cruises’ many optional shore excursions.
Day 14 ~ Cruising the Arabian Sea
As the ship sails through the Arabian Sea, you might want to swim in the Neptune or Seahorse pools, play paddle tennis at Wimbledon Court, or perfect your skills at the golf driving nets or the putting green.
Day 15 ~ Mumbai, India
The ship arrives at Mumbai, the Gateway to India, and the country’s most cosmopolitan city. Mumbai is a spectacle of contrasts with its skyscraper skyline and traditional thieves markets. Originally a group of islands inhabited by fishermen, Mumbai is India’s busiest port and most affluent city. Experience the city’s attractions on your own, or participate in one of Crystal Cruises’ many optional shore excursions.
Day 16 ~ Cruising the Arabian Sea
Spend another delightful day aboard Crystal Symphony. Treat yourself to a tantalizing afternoon tea in the sunny Palm Court, or enjoy live music at the Crystal Cove Piano Bar. You might soak in the Jacuzzi, do some laps in the pool or indulge in an afternoon nap.
Day 17 ~ Cruising the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman
Crystal Symphony continues to sail through the Arabian Sea. Spend your day as you wish. Attend one of the fascinating Crystal Visions Enrichment lectures or relax in the Atrium with a good book. You may choose to join an aerobics or dance class, play some bridge, or pamper yourself at the Crystal Salon.
Day 18 ~ Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The ship arrives at Dubai, a cosmopolitan city, which is part of the United Arab Emirates. The Shopping Capital of the Middle East, Dubai City is also the capital of the Dubai emirate. It has superb beaches, bustling souks and other marvelous shopping venues, fine mosques, world-class golf, an exciting nightlife and archeological sites that date from the seventh to the 15th centuries. Discover the many incredible sights on your own or participate in one of Crystal Cruises’ optional shore excursions.
Day 19 ~ Dubai
After breakfast, disembark Crystal Symphony and spend the entire day exploring Dubai.
Day 20 ~ In transit to the U.S.
Early this morning, depart Dubai International Airport on the return flights to your gateway city.
