Continue your discovery of Ireland’s history at the Irish National Heritage Park and the Dunbrody famine ship. Walk in the footsteps of high king Brian Ború at the Rock of Cashel, and indulge in a glimpse of aristocratic life at a centuries-old manor house. Marvel at the views from the windswept Cliffs of Moher and see ancient dolmen and other traces of past civilizations on the Burren. Cruise to the Aran Islands to view prehistoric forts and the remains of churches. Visit the Irish National Stud Farm, home to the country's top stallions, and the stunning Japanese Gardens, before concluding in Dublin, Ireland’s exciting capital. Kilkenny
Educational Focus: Irish History.
Excursion: Historic Kilkenny. See the many fascinating landmarks in Kilkenny, and visit Kilkenny Castle. Learn about Irish workmanship at the Kilkenny Design Centre.
Local Flavor: Enjoy lunch at Kyteler’s Inn.

Excursion: Irish National Heritage Park. Learn about Irish history with exhibits from the Stone Age to the early Christian era.

Rock of Cashel/ Mallow/Ennis
Excursion: Rock of Cashel. View the Rock of Cashel, the fortress of Brian Ború, high king of Ireland.
Local Flavor: Meet the People - Longueville House. Hosts William O’Callaghan and his wife, Aisling, look forward to sharing their beautiful home with you. Lunch is served after a tour of the grounds of this working farm.
Continue to Ennis and check in at the Old Ground Hotel.

Day 7 :
Ennis
Excursion: The Ancient Burren & Cliffs of Moher. Visit the Burren, a wild limestone plateau with vestiges of ancient civilizations. Marvel at the views from the Cliffs of Moher.
Educational Focus: Storytelling with Eddie Lenihen. Eddie has been preserving and documenting this ancient art for years.

Day 8 :
Aran Islands
Excursion: Aran Islands. Cruise to Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands. Encounter prehistoric forts, megalithic tombs and the remains of churches. Walk to the ruins of the Dún Aengus fortress.

Excursion: Panoramic Dublin City. Visit Trinity College to see one of the world’s most famous illuminated manuscripts, the Book of Kells. Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral and fashionable Grafton Street.
Independent Exploration: The afternoon in Dublin is at your leisure.
Tonight, gather with fellow travelers for a Farewell Reception and Graduation Ceremony, followed by a Farewell Dinner.

For your convenience, AHI offers a flexible Air Program featuring special air fares available at an additional cost in conjunction with the Land Program.
AHI has designated specific Group Air Schedules for this departure utilizing scheduled, round-trip jet service between North America and Dublin, Ireland. Those participating on these flights will enjoy:
- Motor coach transfers between the arrival/departure airports abroad and the hotel, including baggage handling.
- Prices are dependent upon dates, air routes and class of service chosen and will be reflected on your Reservation Confirmation, which will be sent to you upon receipt of your reservation. Air schedules will be sent with your Final Invoice approximately 90 days before departure.
- Prices quoted to you will include all domestic and foreign governmental airport departure taxes and fees and any applicable fuel surcharges.

OPTIONAL INDEPENDENT ACTIVITY
T'ang Dynasty Dinner Show Xi'an, cosmopolitan capital of the T'ang Dynasty (618-907), was an important city on the Silk Road. Standing on the crossroad of commerce and culture, the city's affluence grew and the arts flourished as rulers of this dynasty embraced the many cultures introduced to the city. So admired was Xi'an that the ancient Japanese capitals of Nara and Kyoto were modeled after it. Join this excursion to an entertaining T'ang Dynasty Dinner Show that highlights the culture of this Chinese Golden Age. Enjoy the music, dancing and singing of this glorious period in Chinese history.
