Alumni Club Awards
The Tulane Alumni Association designated 1998 a year for focusing on its club cities program and created the Outstanding Alumni Club Awards. Since then, the clubs have grown, not only geographically with clubs as far a Beijing, but with the quality and diversity of events which renew the affiliations of alumni to Tulane and one another. The Awards have developed into 3 categories: the Ripples Award honors clubs which are developing
and have shown great strides; the Green Wave Award recognizes the efforts in meeting partial criteria, and the Tidal Wave Award honors outstanding accomplishments in all of the criteria. The criteria is: good communication, best events, diverse population, number of events and the use of resources.
