The Tulane Club of Denver is an active group of local alumni who organize social, educational, and cultural activities for Tulane alumni in the Denver and Rocky Mountain region. The club is a constituent member of the Tulane Alumni Association (TAA). Founded in 1898, TAA provides a forum for meaningful involvement and interaction among the university’s 105,000 alumni, its students, and university leaders.
There are over 1000 local Tulane alumni in the Denver and Rocky Mountain region. In recent years our events have included crawfish boils, a theater event, a gathering for a Cowboy Mouth/Better than Ezra concert, and numerous happy hours. The Tulane Club of Denver is proud to be co-hosting the first annual alumni ski trip with the Tulane Club of Albuquerque in February, 2003.
Activities of the club are planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance of the Tulane Office of Alumni Affairs. Therefore, your ideas and your help are always welcome. Please contact the club’s leaders on the “Club Leadership” page if you would like to get involved.
This page is an online bulletin board for local alumni to share information and ideas with each other. For example, if you are looking for a roommate, a new job, or new employee, or if you want to announce that a New Orleans band is coming to town, here's where to make your announcement.

Tulane head coach Rick Jones and the 2010 Green Wave baseball team will hold an open practice as part of a festivity-filled fan day on Saturday, January 30 at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Gates will open at 1 p.m., and the event will begin at 2 p.m. and run through 6 p.m. Admission is free and fans are encouraged to park in the Rosen Lot, which is located off of Claiborne Avenue.
Fan day kicks off at 1 p.m. with concession stands open for anyone wanting to come out for a late lunch and catch an early glimpse of the Wave as the team warms up. There will also be a fun area for kids set up behind the right field bleachers, which will include inflatables and a band. All season ticket holders will be able to pick up their season tickets, and anyone who renewed their tickets by the early renewal deadline will also receive their early renewal gifts. Any new season ticket purchased during the event will also receive season ticket gifts.
The Green Wave will begin practicing at 2 p.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m. During the two and a half our session, Jones will take the microphone and address the crowd and talk about this year’s team and upcoming season.
At the conclusion of practice, Tulane fans will be allowed down to the field for an autograph/picture session with players and staff until 6 p.m.
For anyone who purchased season tickets and cannot attend the baseball Fan Day, season tickets will be mailed to them the week of February 1st and they can pick up their gifts from the Tulane Ticket Office during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call 504-861-WAVE (9283).
