The 2nd Annual Tulane Student Alumni Networking Reception: Careers for the Common Good
Careers for the Common Good is aimed at bringing together undergraduates and alums from many class years, career interests, professional backgrounds and community involvement. If you are interested in helping current undergraduates explore their career path, or in making connections with other alums with careers in non-profit, social/public service, education, etc – this reception is for you! Please join us in establishing this valuable connection between Tulane alumnae/alumni and undergraduates.

About the Club
Local Tulane Clubs operate in numerous cities around the United States and the world, offering social, educational, and cultural activities for area alumni. The clubs are constituent members of the Tulane Alumni Association.
Activities of the club are planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance of the Tulane Office of Alumni Affairs. Therefore, your ideas and your help are always welcome. The continued success of the club is dependent upon your involvement, so please contact the club president to get involved.

Marathon Petroleum Company LLC is currently working on a $3.2 Billion expansion of its Garyville, Louisiana Refinery that will increase Garyville’s refining capacity from 245,000 bpd to 425,000 bpd. In addition to the installation of a new crude and vacuum distillation unit, expansion plans call for the construction of infrastructure and other process units including a delayed coker, heavy gas oil hydrocracker, reformer and kerosene hydrotreater.

Position Available
Territory Manager
New Orleans, LA
The Territory Manager will be responsible for maximizing per store transaction volume and revenue for the full line of WUNA services including Money Transfer, Money Order and additional new services to existing and new agents within an assigned territory. The primary responsibilities include recruiting targeted agents, maximizing same store sales, controlling agent attrition, improving service quality provided by agent to consumers, and for achieving call coverage objectives. The focus of this responsibility includes providing service to existing and new agent locations and some recruitment goals as well. The TM is responsible for the administration and execution of company plans, policies and procedures within the territory and will be responsible for developing and achieving specific service and operational objectives. The TM is responsible for assisting the DMD and Regional VP in implementing local sales, marketing and service initiatives and will work cooperatively with KAM's, TM's, and other Regional personnel.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- College degree or equivalent experience. 2-3 years experience in outside sales and/or service.
- Applicant must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience should include servicing new and existing accounts and managing other resources including internal departments.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint is needed to perform administrative functions.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is mandatory.

Tulane's Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of Alumni Relations are holding a BANTU networking reception and organizational meeting for all those in the greater New Orleans region on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Bea Field Alumni House. The goal of this reception is to begin to redefine the organization, determine what BANTU's goals should be, create a timeline and establish an initial local coordinating board to get things moving.
