Seniors

In addition to being your final year as an undergraduate, this is also a transitional year to the rest of your life.  As you finish up your final degree requirements, think about what comes next.  Take advantage of all the resources available at Tulane to help you plan the end of your undergraduate career, and the beginning of a career, post-baccalaureate education, or whatever awaits you after commencement.

Seniors should also complete the following:

Apply for Graduation

Seniors should make an appointment with an academic advisor to submit an application for degree and review degree requirements the semester before they intend to graduate.

All graduates participating in the spring commencement ceremony should check the Commencement website regularly for information about the ceremony, ordering caps and gowns, and other information about graduation events.

Complete a Capstone

Every Tulane senior must complete a capstone experience related to the student's major(s). The capstone experience allows a student to demonstrate the capacity to bring information, skills, and ideas acquired from the major to bear on one significant project. Capstone experiences are designated by each of the schools and by individual departments or programs within the schools.
