Self Assessment

Getting to know yourself—your interests, your skills, and your values, is the first step toward deciding on a major and a career.  Personal exploration can also play a key role in student success.  By identifying and capitalizing on strengths and recognizing and learning strategies for minimizing barriers, students become better positioned to achieve personal, academic, and professional goals.

Below are some self-assessment tools and books that we recommend to get you started on your journey.   For a more in depth evaluation of your needs and goals please contact the Success Center to set up a meeting with a Success Coach or Peer Educator
