What do you enjoy most about working with Tulane undergrads?
I love working with Tulane students because they’re high achievers. They care a lot about making the most of their time at Tulane. Their motivation is contagious and an inspiration to me.

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya Angelou

What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the Mardi Gras Tree! It’s a unique part of Tulane’s culture and what makes this campus special.

What do you love about New Orleans?
My favorite thing to do in New Orleans is to introduce my friends and family to the city. Taking a ride on the streetcar, strolling through Jackson Square, and eating at Juan’s Flying Burrito are usually on the top of our to-do list.

What do you enjoy most about working with Tulane undergrads?
The collaborative process; we work together to define goals and then watch a vision turn into reality.  Priorities and objectives may change along the way but witnessing student exploration and development is such a rewarding experience.     

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
"Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there's love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong."- Ella Fitzgerald

What is your favorite spot on campus?
We live near campus and occasionally my husband and I will bring our croquet set to the lawn across from the Bea Field Alumni House.  It’s a game we both played as children and we enjoying keeping the tradition alive.

What is your favorite New Orleans festival?
Hands down it’s the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival.  Delicious food, great music and it just so happens to be where my husband proposed!

What do you enjoy most about working with Tulane undergrads?
Talking with one Tulane student is not the same as talking with another—The population is so heterogeneous, and the students are clever and unique.

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
“Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald

What is your favorite spot on campus?
I love Gibson Circle, especially in the spring when the azaleas are blooming.

What is your favorite New Orleans restaurant?
Casamento’s!  I had my first raw oysters there the weekend I visited Tulane as a high school senior, and they are just as good now as they were back then.

What do you enjoy most about working with Tulane undergrads?
They keep me young! All joking aside, I love the enthusiasm students have for their interests and the dedication they bring to improving the lives of others.  As a native New Orleanean, I feel a great appreciation for the renewal efforts Tulane students have made in this city post-Katrina.

What is your favorite spot on campus?
Newcomb Quad, I love to grab quiet time under the Oak trees.

What is your favorite spot in New Orleans?
City Park, I have great childhood memories of Storyland and now my husband and I bring our daughter, Adelaide, there all the time.  We regularly visit Stanley Ray playground, the Carousel Gardens, Popp Fountain, NOMA, and the Sculpture Garden.  My favorite sculpture is the one by Claes Oldenburg- Safety Pin.  It reminds me of our time in San Francisco; the same sculpture is housed in the de Young Museum’s gardens in Golden Gate Park.
