Report of the President 2007

Though many of us are still confronting on a daily basis the disruptive and damaging impact of Hurricane Katrina, living here in New Orleans and being a part of Tulane University reveals the remarkable capacity of human beings to overcome adversity and to succeed.

This is the online companion to a print report documenting where Tulane University is now; and how it has renewed itself as a different and, I think, better university. I'm proud to say that we are a model for survival, recovery and success.

I hope you regard this report not so much as a message from me, but a reflection of you, a mosaic of stories that touch on the essence of what we've been through, and who and where we are now.
