Schools and College
Tulane offers a top-tier learning experience that educates the whole person, intellectually, culturally and socially. With mutual support and respect, we teach our students to love knowledge for its own sake and use that knowledge to tackle our time’s most pressing issues. The flexibility of Tulane’s curriculum allows undergraduates to pursue double or triple majors across different schools. A third of our students double major while master’s and doctoral candidates are encouraged to pursue questions that require interdisciplinary exploration.
Newcomb-Tulane College is the academic home of all full-time undergraduates. The college provides academic services for students, including advising, honors, study abroad, and a range of academic student programs. Students enrolled in the college pursue programs and degrees offered by the undergraduate schools.
