DIRECTIONS TO THE UPTOWN CAMPUS

(To Gibson Hall, home of Undergraduate Admission and University Administration)

Parking near the university is limited, use of taxi or public transportation is highly recommended.

Driving From I-10

• As you enter the downtown area, follow the signs to Hwy. 90 Business/West Bank.
• Exit at St. Charles Avenue/Carondelet Street (do not cross the bridge).
• At the second traffic light make a right onto St. Charles Avenue.
• Follow St. Charles Avenue for four miles.
• Tulane and Gibson Hall will be on your right at 6823 St. Charles Avenue. Gibson Hall is the center of the three main stone buildings on St. Charles Avenue.

DIRECTIONS TO THE Health sciences CAMPUS (downtown)

From the North (Causeway Bridge)
or West (Airport)
Take I-10 East, following the New Orleans signs. Exit right at the Claiborne/Superdome Exit. Follow signs to Claiborne East, going up onto the overpass, keeping to the right. Go down Claiborne Avenue to Canal Street and turn right.

From the South
Travel east across the Crescent City Connection over the Mississippi River. Take the Superdome Exit and turn right onto Canal Street.

From the East
Follow I-10 West to the Canal Street/Superdome Westbank Exit. Follow the ramp, turning right onto Canal Street (this will bring you under the I-10 overpass).

From the West (Uptown)
Travel east on Claiborne Avenue toward the Superdome. Go up onto the overpass, keeping to the right, and down again onto Claiborne Avenue, where you will turn onto Canal Street.
