Evernote is a note  taking application that syncs between a computer, phone, and tablet. The  desktop application can stand alone on a Mac or PC, but its real power  lies in its ability to reach across all devices. It allows users to snap  a picture, capture audio, clip online news articles, or simply write a  note and access it at any time. 

The system of notebooks lends itself to easy organization and can be shared with a group.
