Cloud-based Phone Service comes to Tulane's Uptown Campus

Posted: 09/08/2013

This month marks the installation of cloud-based NET+ SIP phone service on Tulane’s Uptown campus. Tulane is one of the first institutions of higher education to adopt this cutting edge service.

"The Net+ SIP service is state-of-the art technology that allows us to save the University financial resources while offering more advanced voice features than a traditional PBX system," states Tulane's Chief Technology Officer Charlie McMahon.

Learn more about Net+ SIP phone service at http://riptide.me/SIP , and visit us from 10AM-3PM on Tech Day, September 27 to try out working SIP phones and get questions answered.

Other campuses are scheduled to switch to the cloud-based service in the near future.
